Dear Forum,
after several revisions of the book “The incredible unravelling of the Voynich Manuscript” I have now decided to openly discuss my work for the Voynich.Ninja forum.
I hope that the version now available will make it sufficiently clear that, according to my findings, the Voynich code is based on the medieval system of abbreviations, but intentionally breaks its usual rules to create an independent secret code. In my opinion, the Voynich Code is a deliberately created mixture of characters and abbreviation signs from various epochs and regions as well as of unencrypted and partly self-invented written characters - and thus a masterpiece of creativity, which can nevertheless be reconstructed due to its following of certain sets of rules.
The central question of the solution presented, however, is neither the question of the derivation of the written characters, nor the question of the authorship of the manuscript (discussed in detail in the text and finally marked as speculation). Rather, the crucial question arises as to why there are so many similarities with Latin word stems, each of which is purposeful and meaningful in its context. From my point of view this cannot be a coincidence, even if my knowledge of Latin is not sufficient for a concrete and reliable resolution (see part 3 of the text). The same result is obtained after further spot checks at all other places in the manuscript.
Somewhere in the vicinity of the presented results the secret of the Voynich code is hidden, I am convinced of that. My wish would be that a constructive discussion of the results takes place, which will hopefully contribute to a decisive progress in Voynich research.
