Hello, everyone.
I would like to share a new hypothesis based on my own research and a visual analysis of the illustrations found in the manuscript.
My hypothesis is that the Voynich Manuscript may visualize concepts and mechanisms for generating something new.
This may relate to counterpoint, not merely as the combination of independent melodies, but as a process in which motifs are transformed, connected, and developed into new musical material.
The plant illustrations, for example, may represent the combination of different elements to generate new motifs. This is a possibility worth exploring.
I have posted further details and an outline of the underlying theory on my website.

Thank you!

). I really don't know if anyone else has developed similar ideas further, but I couldn't find anything after watching that one. Good luck - it'll be interesting to see where you might be able to go with it.
