Yes, it is! You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view., although like i mentioned it is much noisier.

Thank, I see. One has to set "Columns" to "Bifolia by rank" (I have yet to work out most of the options). It's cool, I guess the bifolia are ordered as what resulted from your previous study?

Edit: I take the chance for another question. If I set Word = cheey the same graph as for chol appears and I cannot find 'cheey' in the graph (it should appear 177 times in the whole manuscript, about 46 times/10kwords). I see for instance 'chey', but no 'cheey'. There's something I'm missing?

Yes, they are the bifolia rank from the other analysis. Note in the recent stability analysis I did, i found that some of the orderings were unstable, so I'm not claiming this is the exact bifolia sequence.

As for cheey, I agree this is a bit confusing with how the app works currently and I think i will work on an improvement to make it a bit simpler.

It groups together words that are all part of the same 'rule family'. Basically groups of words that all exhibit similar the same changes and may possibly be connected. In the case of cheey, it is a part of the same 'chol' family of words, so typing it in doesn't appear to change the graph. If you click on the 'scope' and change it from rule family to 'pattern' it will isolate cheey, but this also doesn't show what you want.

Because cheey is a smaller word volume, and the default view limits to the top 12, it pushes it out of the view. If i adjust it to top 24, it becomes visible. You can also look at the list of words that appears below the chart and select one.

I will work on improving the site so that if you search for a word that is not in the top 12, it will force it to display. I think making it so that when you search for a word it only shows that word and words it connects to be the default would also be less confusing. Sorry about that, i will work to improve it, i appreciate the feedback!

No biggies, you already did a great job! I know how much it's annoying to modify and tweak the data output!

Luckily i have Claude to help with making changes, so it isn't a big deal at all. I've already implemented some fixes.

The default view is now 'lineage' -- which will only show words directly linked to the word in the search box. For cheey, the difference is that chy has connections to words that cheey does not, so it now shows chy linking to 'rest of the family', but doesn't display those to make analysis easier. You can change the scope back to rule family or search chy to see the broader connections. Searching for a word now will also force it to display even if it would normally be below the threshold.

You may have to hard-refresh the page, but You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view..

I'm happy there are people who can make good use of AI! The page is cool, thanks.

It would be useful if you could publish your ordered bifolios list, with the indication of which of your sections (1a 1b 1.5a etc.) each bifolio/page belongs to. Maybe I missed it, or it's already on github?

Thanks. Surprised to see I'm still being cited. Funnily, that word structure is similar to the "tweetweety" idea* I had in mind over ten years ago, before I switched to volvelles. That study is done thoroughly, and confirms that the vocabulary shifts across the manuscript are caused by subcomponents of words shifting, much like my suggestion of volvelle replacement.

*Twelve letter slots based on letter outline: One tall, one wide, two small squares (resembling vowels), one tall, one wide, two squares, one tall, one suffix. Illustrated by the shape of the letters "tweetweety". Turned out to be complete garbage - don't look into it.

Thank you. It's ordered alphabetically by unit_id though, I hoped ordered along the 'chronological' order used by eo777.github I could use it to work backwards from the folio numbers in the graphs in your notation (such as A:1-8 C:20-21) to the standard You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. f1r etc. but that would be too much work  Big Grin

Edit: hmm is the sequence the table at You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. ?
Edit: okay, everything's clear! Thanks
