[Article] What We Actually Know ( about the VMS )
#1
I found the following new article about the VMS titled “What We Actually Know.” While the content goes beyond that, I think the basic approach to working with the VMS, as described in part, is also worth reading.

I think there’s nothing difficult about distinguishing between facts and interpretations.
In the case of VMS, the fact is that I see a plant and that it looks like some kind of real plant. Everything else is guesswork and speculation.
Overall, I agree with what is written there.

Is that the case? I hadn't noticed that at all.

I'm glad Ed confirmed it, because it gave me LLM vibes to the extent that I couldn't keep reading.

The website offers paid tuition plans for Singaporean students and appears to be completely AI generated as well. The site features several more AI nonsense articles about medieval manuscripts that make your head explode. I hope no students are subjected to this... Confused

This one's especially hilarious. Vibe-coding meets medieval manuscript.:

I noticed a somewhat worrying trend with this website. I hope it's a coincidence, but in my last couple of superficial VM-related google searches, one article or other from this domain came up as one of the top results. This is slop with decent SEO.
