I don't know about the bubbles part but lots of things create flows of water. I often have trouble deciding if the flows in the illustrations are supposed to be water or air or something else. If you look at f77r, the five "outlets" from the arching tube at the top are often said to represent the five classical Greek elements. They are usually identified in this order, left to right:
Air
Water
Aether, Quintessence (the fifth essence)
Fire
Earth (Land)
I have a hard time distinguishing the Water from the Earth but I will trust that the blue one is Water.
I don't know about the thing the bird is on in the upper right on 86v3 but (I know a lot of people are going to disagree with me on this) I interpret the illustration of the cone shaped object with scales in the upper left to be a representation of the female breast giving milk. I don't think the illustrations should be taken literally. I think they should be taken symbolically.
