Yes indeed. I think this is also something we should consider - Latin documents translated to German. But I'd also agree the VM month labels don't look Latin. -

Eggy: I would personally focus on linguistic border regions. Maybe the northen areas between French and middle high German. It would require some digging to find what those are... -

What IF there is a reason to use a modifier like a genitive to certain marginalia months names in the VM, a reason given by the voyniches text itself, ergo a sentence that the marginalia scriba could actually read. [Is vage spectulation but this idea could be huge. Maybe keep in the air?] In that case, there should be a visual diference [like some short of crib] when comparing the diagrams of each month names. [Due the nature of the vm it may not necesarily be a clear word or may be.] -

But the month labels aren't in any sort of genitive, that's the whole point. They are simple, unmodified base nouns in a vernacular, as would be expected of standalone labels. So this is like the last thing we need to worry about. -

Okey; Also haven't found anything of "strange discrepancy" in the diagrams of april, july and august compared with the others; they are all equally strange and weird as usuall. -

Ciao and bom dia, i just woke up and had to see, that my contributions here disappeared. Where did my suggestions for the months May and September go? Is there a bug? Even Stolfis answer is deleted, and the one from the admin as well. How can we restore the information? I have a PDF print from the whole page, but I am not allowed to upload any file. Are all functions working properly?

Your post was off-topic and resulted in a whole chain of posts necessary to explain to you what's going on. Stolfi's post said you're being off-topic. You complain that our posts explaining this to you are gone, and then go off-topic again?
