Well, given that very few Voynich researchers have researched ciphers of that time there may well be other ciphers that have survived that we don't know about yet. My experience of archival research is that archivists often have a very very limited knowledge of the presence of ciphers in their archives and that often the existence of those ciphers may not have been documented elsewhere. I don't blame archivists for this as this is a function of the size of archives and the limited human resources that archivists have access to. I intend to conduct more archival research in Italian archives(including the Vatican), but obviously I can't predict what I will or will not find and it is difficult to know which archives are likely to be the most productive.
