I've quickly drawn out the glyphs below

black - normal voynich
orange - probably due to writing small/in circles, or fading/ink blots etc
red - strange glyphs

Do these resemble any known plaintext letters / symbols? Or explainable by some combo of "orange"? 

Top left -red letter - resembles the Hebrew Alef.

It's not so bad. Most of these words can be transliterated using only basic EVA, with a few exceptions, once the rotations and glyph writing variants are taken into account.

The 'aleph' looks like a normal k with several small gaps where the ink is missing for some reason.

I get what you mean but if we delete bits of any other "k" this scribe does we couldn't make this glyph

We would be left with |-| for the bottom half and need (-\ to match this, the pen strokes seem very different. If anything, if it is just "k", it looks like it started out as "a" then got corrected into a "k" to me

Edit: I'd also note that the scribes "k" tends to lean right, or if not be fairly upright. This would be the only one leaning left.

To me it does look like a very normal EVA-k with a few missing bits.

Regarding the shapes, look what happened to the final EVA-y in the fourth image, which you didn't mark as unusual. This probably is a EVA-y, but it has a very weird curve in its descender. Looks like the scribe had problems fitting the letters inside this ring.

I don't want to get hung up on this "k". I don't agree, but I see what you guys are saying.

Some words were written with an awkward wrist angle to avoid rotating the page but this one... no idea what happened to make Voynichese look like that.

Maybe it's a plaintext "f*nd" instead of the longer ciphertext that did not fit in there.

It's certainly not something clearly identifiable. This could be a vertical (radial) separator followed by something like EVA-rain, with EVA-r and the separator overlapping. For other rings there is clear space which can help finding the start of the inscription, but for this particular ring the text turned out too long, so the scribe added a vertical line there.
