Oh Rene, I understand Your embarrassment, because, the VM "8" is not a "d" or "8", as stated by some members,
You need to update the transliteration. You need to update all statistics and whatever.

If you had examined the 15th century European manuscripts, you would see that the 8-shaped letter stands for the letter d, just like Rene transliterated it, and not for v as you suggest. Because of the similarities of the sounds d and t, the letters were often used incorrectly, particularly in phonetic writing. This is also the case for VM, where many suffixes are spelled as -dy, instead of -ti.
