In Bouché-Leclercq's "L'astrologie grecque" I found two references to A. Krichenbauer. Which of the two do you mean ?

Yes, it must be this title: Theogonie Und Astronomie by Anton Krichenbauer

I just found on Google Books

    Unfortunately in German:

I only say this because "copy and paste" does not work for the translator. So you have to laboriously type out the text as needed. This is doable, but very cumbersome. The workaround via OCR text recognition is also quite cumbersome since the text still needs to be corrected, at least for me ( "tesseract" is OCR software ).

In English, much of the literature concerning the allegorical and philosophical reading of Homer and Greek myths in general was translated by Thomas Taylor. There is no better account of it.

But the correspondences between Greek gods and planets is not at all a straightforward matter; it is as complicated as Greek festivals and calendars where every polis has a different system and there is very little that is Panhellenic. Lunar deities are especially complex.

The question is what strata of Greek myth might have found its way into the Voynich MS? In the historical context, one suspects it would be Neoplatonic, Proclus, Iamblichus and so on, either directly or indirectly.

I was joking with you when I said that the German language will not make me back down.  Even if I could find this book in French, I don't see myself spending time today on a book of more than 400 pages, I'll just look up the terms that interest me.  It's not a perfect way to work, I know, but it's better than nothing.

What currently concerns me is to be able to confirm or invalidate the choices of attribution of phinetic values to the glyphs of the manuscript. Especially since it's no secret that many people find readable words in very different languages with different phonetic glyph values.
I don't know if a few astrology terms have ever been recognized in the text by anyone.

Another word, this time on the Rosettes page, may be an astrology term: olkais,od,al EVA, which I read as You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view.i. This word is close to αναιρεται, dative of αναιρετης - destroyer, murderer, in astrology anareta, a planet cutting short human life.

The word olpchedy (4B), twice on 81r and twice on 105v and which I read as aphe89, may also be αφετις/αφετης, an astrology term - heavenly body which determines the vital quadrant or αφετος - dedicated, free from worldly business?
