Contains two unpublished fragments: 1) copies of the twelve seals said in MSS VW to have been found on the ring of Solomon, f. 361v; 2) one of the recipes found in the same recension (VII 7), f. 167v The codex contains much astrological matter, and many Solomonic amulets and selections. It has a large number of amulets like those in MS V, and long selections of magical content written in the peculiar cryptography to be found in that manuscript. They must, therefore, be of related origin, S having been copied from V or its exemplar. I have not learned anything concerning its provenience.
