The first five quires of the book are written by an unknown scribe in a conservative Welsh style, while the remainder of the book was written by the famous Welsh poet Gutun Owain, who writes in a style that would have been more contemporary.

I am very curious to see evidence for this claim. Are you able to give your source for it being first conservative and then contemporary? You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. makes no mention of a change in style.
