A lot of people, including Lisa Fagin Davis, have expressed the hope that the Voynich Manuscript was written by women for women. As a woman myself, I would have loved for that to be the case but the facts don't fit that wish. From what I have seen, the Voynich Manuscript appears to have been written by men for men.
