I did something similar with glyphs. I used a SAM model to isolate individual glyphs across the whole Manuscript and created a 1.7mn image dataset. Part of that can be seen here and it shows the same horseshoe pattern .. I have absolutely no idea what do to do with this but if useful, I can share it.. You are not allowed to view links.
