Imagine If... Was the Voynich Just a Notebook of Scientific Dreams?

Why copy fantasies onto parchment?
Smile
Hello, my friend. That is a very valid question; given that parchment is made from expensive animal hide, one might wonder why a writer would use it to pour out his fantasies rather than using a cheaper material. However, let me clarify—for you and for the general public—that this is not sufficient grounds to rule out the possibility. The author may have perceived immense value in his ideas, deeming them worthy of being recorded on parchment. As I previously noted in the theory, these drawings and writings are likely personal records. Furthermore, since we all know that the sections on plants, bathing, and astronomy within the manuscript bear no relation to reality, we must also consider whether he intended to conceal the work from certain contemporaries, hoping instead that it would surface for future generations—people who might receive his ideas through this parchment and carry on his work. Ultimately, the theory remains just that—a theory—rather than a definitive solution Big Grin . Thank you.
