Voynichese may be an artificial language (as Friedman said), but it is not a "conlang" in the usual sense. At the very least, it was impossible to communicate on it.

I am curious about your definition of "constructed language" (conlang) and how it differs from "artificial language".

By the way, most conlangs were never spoken by a group of people and never reached the form allowing free, easy discussion.
