29 May 1599 : “Description of poor students in the House of the Poor, carried out on Thursday after the Sunday of Exaudi 1599. The recorders and some foreigners: (...) Albertus Wrublicius, singer (discantist).”

I am curious about the source of this information. Does this refer to the house of the poor in Krumlov?
Are these records available to you? Are they cited in anothe book, or was this information provided by a Google AI?

Jacobus was in the house of the poor in Prague, though his Jesuit biography also refers to the house of the poor in Krumlov. It is quite possible (but of course not certain) that they knew each other since those early days.

Wroblicius' ex libris appear in the Aristotle book, but not in the Voynich MS, so most probably he only owned only the Aristotle. This was basic learning material for every student, also at Jesuit institutions.

Jacobus had a brother and two nephews in Kojetin. This at least creates a clear possibility for them to have met and the book to have changed hands after 1614.

Dear Rene,

Thank you for your message.
It's the poor house in Krumlov for Wroblicius. The source is mentionned at the end of my post, here again :

I'm used to check every source and use IA for presenting the information (after checking), translating, dating (for example "Exaudi 1599" is a date). When I use IA for searching the web, I'm interesting only on printed books, or archives, constistent source. Usually I search on google books, web archive... and search on this forum sometimes it's good sourced

Have you a source for the brother and the nephews of Jacobus ? Thank you !

Regards,
Fabien.
