It shows medieval distillation apparatus with interconnected vessels and tubes, which some people used to extract spirits, essences, or medicinal waters. I’m not saying it proves anything about the Voynich, but I thought the visual similarity of connected containers and tubing might be worth comparing to some of the structures seen in the manuscript.
