  • Could this page look this way using a cypher like the Naibbe cypher? Is this like the labels where that falls apart, or does this hold up act more like a line in that regards.
  • Does this line speak to Patrick Feaster’s work with loops, or rightness/leftness?
  • How does this work with any of the slot theories, or core and mantle theories?
  • Does this line have other implications that I have not see?

I'm not sure I see why this folio wouldn't work with the Naibbe, CLS, slot theories, etc. It looks to me like more or less normal Voynichese with excessive use of m's. If we assume that m is an abbreviation (whether plaintext or ciphertext, doesn't matter), maybe the author felt the need to make this inscription short. Given that this page is near a few full-text folios with no images, maybe it just says "see prev. folio", "as descr. in the text", "ref. to sect. A on the left" or anything similar.

Also, I won't say that the Naibbe falls apart for the labels. I think if most labels are 1-2 letters long (so, they are indices and not words), the Naibbe would work just fine for them. The Naibbe doesn't really explain LAAFU, the use of custom script, and personally for me the Naibbe is way too verbose to consider, but otherwise it would work fine to mimic Voynichese, I think.
