I think you're right. However, this still leaves two unusual dots on the arm. There's something similar on the raised arm. Maybe buttons or some kind of laces. I agree that a glove looks less likely though.

I was mostly struck by the fact that of these four figures, one is standing on grass which may stand for the element earth. The others are much less clear.
