My first ideas about Q13 related to distillation and similar processes.

So do I, @Koen. And your Ovid, which you haven’t followed up on, even after I pointed out 3 more possible Ovidian stories. I wish you would, because I consider these the one convincing breakthrough of anything I’ve ever read. Moreover, your theories have possible significance for our cryptographers. You and I independently came to the conclusion that the women were ciphers in and of themselves, in the literary sense, and were standing in for different things, but most importantly - men. Your actors are all female, whatever their sex in Ovid. Could the text itself only have female conjugations?  It might be one part of the puzzle. Did you ever look into it?  And distillation/metamorphosis might render some results as well. I’m not saying we can’t just study the images on their own, but when trying to write up my own findings, I realized that unless the text is deciphered, it’s just another of the myriad interpretations no matter how much research I’ve put into it.
