Asking ChatGPT about the VM to show how confidently it claims dumb things

Is it possible to ask IA to add the references, otherwise it seems to come from myths and legends?

I don't know if this is true for all LLMs but ChatGPT prefers to hallucinate references than admit it has no idea what its sources are. I suppose that all sources of data are amalgamated in the Large Language Model so getting a reference for a specific piece of information is as impossible as unscrambling eggs.
