[Other] The Voynich Garden

I wonder what they are trying to achieve with this.
If already 2 out of 3 of the mentioned authors do not fulfil the basic requirements (not from America, because of the C-14 analysis) and the third uses the whole globe as a possibility.
Therefore, everything is already wrong.
It took years to point out such details to people.

Sorry for not answering this earlier. I did not understand the context and thought perhaps the post had been accidentally placed in the wrong thread or something. Now I think I see what you were referring to... By "they", I assume you meant we who wrote the application? and by "mentioned authors", I assume you meant the few historical researchers visible with the first plant case (f2v-az).

What we are trying to achieve is explained on the About page.

Regarding the basic requirements you mention...
I sure don't disagree that there are very (very) strong reasons to say that these plants don't represent ones from America.

But, on the other hand, one should be cautious in saying with any certitude that such plant proposals (or authors with unlikely theories) are therefore "already wrong".
They probably are wrong, but to discard them for reasons other than the content of the particular illustrations is a case of strong confirmation bias.
If any illustration looks more like an American plant than any non-American one (which I personally have not seen), then so be it.
One cannot simply negate that as evidence because it doesn't agree with other evidence on the broader questions of the manuscript's origin.
Rather one must investigate further to see how that or any other conflicting evidence can be reconciled in order to support a particular theory.
