I compared the VM script to five other manuscripts of that time (in Slovenian, Latin, Czeck, and German) and the gallows are about the only VM glyphs that have no similar letter in those manuscripts. Also, all other scripts have the combinations SV, ZV, ZW, which leads to the logical conclusion that the two gallows stand for SV, ZV Slovenian sounds.
