Oh, streets of Athens!
I miss Greece. I was there for a week, in Santorini, as far away from tourists as I could get. Awesome. Loved it. Rented scooters for a day and toured the whole island. Went to the top of the mountain and looked out over the crater. Food was GREAT. Water blue and warm.
I have stories about Athens. Went north via Thessaloniki. Was going to visit Turkey, but tragically missed Istanbul due to a very bad cold. Had to hole up in a hotel for a few days instead.
Whenever I get nostalgic for Santorini, I watch Daryl Hannah in Summer Love.
