Possibilities 3 and 4 are contradictory. Do five-pointed stars convey some meaning in the VMs or not?
Yes, indeed, this has all been examined before. Do the number of points indicated the star's magnitude?, for instance. Various interpretations have been proposed, but nothing has done much to clarify these details, IMO. I can only suggest Pelling or other blog sources.
