Bunny, I'm curious. Do any of these "results of others" that seem to you to have validity include translations of manuscript pages without images?
There are not so many pages without images of some kind to be sure, 5 I think, so maybe only image folios have been looked at by people, but text alone should be able to be done in the same manner. The subjects covered often have nothing to do with the text though and if without images includes the recipe section at the back then yes.
