So that you learn something.

But as far as I can tell, you really don’t get it.

It all starts with the star chart.
You can find it somewhere in the astronomy section on Ninja.
This chart features the star sign ‘Taurus’, or ‘Taurum’ in Latin.
‘Taurum’ is a keyword. (Taurum minus aur = 89 = tum).
Then it’s even presented to you in plain text.

You don’t understand it because you lack the basic knowledge, and I’m not going to spell it out for you.

By the way:
If you’ve read K. Schmeh’s post, you should know that I am Peter Mösli. It’s a sort of code of honour not to just spout nonsense

And I’ve already explained it.

Just out of kindness.
When you look at this picture, a thought should flash through your mind like a bolt of lightning.

Nah, I'm too dumb for that—like I said.  And I don't want to think for myself; I want someone to explain it to me so I can understand it. Give us dumb people a chance!!! Tongue

So give us a longer passage with a translation—say, about a little page long.

in German:

Big Grin

All right, then, so be it—which means I still consider your idea to be unequivocally refuted—just as before. You haven’t been able to provide any counterevidence so far, either.

But that doesn’t have to bother you; stupid people have never recognized true genius....

And yet there’s still one tiny little problem. Here in this forum, your theory is obviously not accepted—otherwise, you’d be celebrated for it. There can really only be two possibilities for this:

You’re not able to explain it in a way that we stupid readers can understand.

Or there’s a problem with your theory...

Take your pick. Big Grin Big Grin  Big Grin

Is there any way to ignore a thread in this forum? Watching two people repeatedly swapping childish insults becomes boring quite quickly.

"This should have been an email exchange" kind of forum discussions.

There is no way to ignore a thread, which is unfortunate if you like to keep a clean slate of "unread posts". A quick click-and-close might be your best option.

@Aga Tentakulus,
you are aware that something like „Deas tum tas tatis“ is not even close to Latin and contains only 2 valid Latin words, and nothing of it is a real sentence or means anything like „country“?

Dir ist bewusst, dass der „Deas…“-Satz nicht annähernd Latin ist, nur 2 echte lateinische Worte enthält und keins irgendwas wie „Land“ bedeuten kann?

You’re certainly right about that.
That’s just one of those things with Google. By now, I know what Google gets up to.
The text is almost correct; the words are too.
Google doesn’t distinguish between ‘tatis’ (which doesn’t actually exist); it uses ‘tutis’ or ‘totis’.
Is it a question of dialect? I don’t know.
‘Deas’ means goddess but also princess.
‘Tum’ and ‘tuum’ both mean ground.
Don’t hold me responsible for Google’s work, or the dialect, or the spelling from 1400.
The point is, it always works and looks nice too.

@ Koen I just want to quickly point out that I haven't insulted anyone in my posts. Irony isn't an insult; it's a humorous and moderate response to arrogance.

But okay, if that's how you and other see this - I agree with that, and I won't go into Aga's theory any further, here.
