Well, the second case is certainly very distorted. A Polish person could understand it or not, depending on your exact pronounciacion and also the bigger context. The second word alone could be confused with "mogiła" (grave) but in the sentence you may get from other words that it is a verb which helps to get a proper meaning.

In any case, the pronunciation can also come from the person themselves. The second word is better written as modliua, but I didn’t hear the sound “d” in the phrase, something like “gie".
