To chime in here after a few months of relative radio silence, there are a couple things I am continuing to work on:
1. Attempting to further reconcile the Naibbe cipher with the multi-scale statistical properties of the VMS. The idea here is not to "prove" the Naibbe cipher but rather to explore how certain VMS features (e.g., long-range correlations) could arise within the cipher in a self-consistent way. I have made meaningful progress on this front.
2. More general statistical analyses of the VMS related to its structure and behavior at the line, page, folio, and bifolium/quire levels. I have submitted one such abstract to Voynich 2026.
I would like to inform this highly esteemed community, as well as any other interested seekers, that I am no longer working on a solution to the VMS problem. The simple reason for this is that I have already solved the problem of deciphering its meaning and understanding the significance of its most important elements.
The evidence for this can be found in two complementary books on the subject, both of which are available through the publisher's website. Should anyone be genuinely interested, I can provide the address.

What happened? I am new here and I was hoping, I could start with my research ... once I understand all functions and behaviour rules. This forum got a total of 82,019 posts in 4,200 threads. I don't know where to start and how to remember all the autors and ideas and their final conclusions. Which thread helped you most to solve the problem of deciphering and understanding? Can you please recommand it to me? I want to start right there. Thank you Gregor.

To begin with, it is worth exploring all the open information on the Internet (this is desirable).
Theories and Solutions and Analysis of the text can help you with the decryption.

Don't worry, there's no need to shut down this forum just yet. If my conclusions turn out to be wrong, the discussion will continue. If they prove to be correct, then indeed some researchers may have to find themselves a new hobby.

There are no universally accepted functions and behaviour rules.
In the posts of this forum there are many disagreements, disbeliefs and skepticisms. The community seems to be split into several camps, each believing something different. Many people will just dismiss even the best ideas and research if they conflicts with their own beliefs. Progress doesn't seem to be advancing by forward steps. Trying to get everyone to agree is going to be impossible.
