Register or Login to view. during the 15th century, it is possible that old manuscripts (including numerological ones) from the Greek territories were preserved by retreating Europeans and found their way to Venice, the Old Swiss Confederacy, France and Germany.
Perhaps some numerological aspects (11, 22, and 33 are known as Master Numbers) of the number 11 were known to the author(s) of the cipher manuscript.

The text in the lunar folio ends in "99" which occurs only once in the entire manuscript.
There are other duplication choices, like '44', '4040', 'rr', gallows duplication, etc., which never occur in the manuscript.

The attached image shows the word tokens in the folio as follows:
- word tokens appearing only once in the folio (yellow background);
- word tokens appearing more than once in the folio (turquoise background); and
- word tokens appearing also in longer word tokens in the folio (pink background).
