Koen, you should definitely submit something! I can't promise you it will be accepted - as I've said, anyone can submit a proposal. All proposals will be anonymized and reviewed by the Programme Committee as well as outside readers.

Another question:
It is required that something is new and has never been published before.
Is it considered published if it has been written before, for example, here at Ninja, or Nick, Klaus, Bax, etc.?

Just as an example (not finished):
I have already written some things, but I have not really published them. But it was used.  Would one now say that it is new, or rather used?

As I've said, anyone is welcome to submit a proposal. We have limited space, so it is definitely not guaranteed acceptance!
Are all submissions considered equally, provided they made the final deadline, or will space fill up beforehand meaning later submissions have a harder time?
Submissions will all be reviewed after the deadline.
Just two quick updates:

1) the issue with requiring a U. Malta account in order to register has been resolved, so you may go ahead and register if you wish;
2) follow us on Twitter for updates: @Voynich2022
I would love to watch remotely. Can't wait to hear any new info that the researchers have to share!
Don't forget! The deadline for initial proposals for the "International Conference on the Voynich Manuscript" is June 30! More info here:

I suspect (hope) you'll see an influx of submissions as the deadline approaches Smile
