  Hi everybody,
  I'm new here and have much to learn so please go easy on me 
  
  Just a thought I had about the F (You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view.) and the B:
  If the lowercase letters might be color coding which indicate German origin,
  then the uppercase might be indicating the plant part, in a German language.
  In this case, F for frucht (fruit) and B for blatt (leaf)
  
  Is there any other example for such annotation?

  It's a possibility, I think, though perhaps not necessarily in German German. I'm saying this because 'rot' is the word for "root" in North-Germanic languages. In fact the English word 'root' was introduced by Northern invaders.
  
  'F' could be fruit or flower in a whole bunch of languages as well.
