RE: Traces of a wheel or similar

Thanks for the link to the other thread.
A brief summary of what I think I can stand by:
The first glyph in a line is dependant on the first glyph in the line above. It is not dependant on the first glyph two lines above, other than THROUGH the line above.
Repeating the first glyph is avoided. This is similar to the findings of tavie and dashstofsk.
There is a kind of "flow" going forward approx 2/3 of the time and back 1/3 of the time. Forward and back here just means it is a kind of direction to it.
This also holds when the placement in the paragraph is accounted for.
The 2/3 is a mix of two things:
In A we expected 43 lines starting with o after an o, but only 3 did. At the same time there were about 40 more q lines after o than expected. The q replaces the o.
In B only about 4 y after y are missing, but we see about 24,5 more d after y than expected. So I don't think d replaces y in the same way. But here I must admit I am not sure exactly how to interpret the data.
The paragraph has a separate start, this happens from line 2. Line 2 often starts with d or o and rarely with q. This explains the "q as a hub" idea I proposed.
The rules outlined here ONLY works on the left margin, the rest of the line is NOT affected.
