  In some places it looks like it may be aiming at something like lists of names of angels, with the -el endings. But that's grasping straws.

  IIRC, the cover letter that Marci sent to Kircher with Barschius's book was written by his secretar because his sight had deteriorated to the point that he could write it himself. 
  
  Do we know when Marci inherited the book from Barschius?  Would he still have been able to study it at that time -- in particular, to write down those two "tentative keys?"
