The examples you showed are very well proportioned and anatomically competent.They are much better (which is why I picked them as exemplars) but they are both much more concerned with outer form than realism. The first one is squared off and his shoulder joints show no depth or movement. It's a much better outline. The shoulders are all over the place in the second one---look at the left arm on the green guy and whatever is going on with red on the viewer's left. The guy on our right is in a more plausible position, but get your arm up like that and cock your head the way he has and tell me what you feel. (Also, I didn't focus on hands, but woof.)
