Entirely possible, but since the dog in Latin begins with letter C, I became disinterested in Latin at once

One being that the plants tend to be thematically similar per page. Go through the section and you will notice: some pages are all roots, some are very green, others in between, others are very thick in symbolical imagery. The ordering appears to be by type, both botanically and in the extent of symbolism.
You probably did not understand what I meant, I did not mean that plants are grouped by letter, they are grouped by their belonging to the particular concoction. If components in recipes were to be grouped by letter, everyone could have become an apothecary. What is governed by letter is the choice of mnemonics. It's easier to remember three things starting with letter H than three things starting with different letters. But, as I said, that's rather a coincidence for this particular grouping, and the letter does not matter. -

"Duplicated" is not the appropriate word, they are rather re-used, which is only natural, first you have some plant descriptions, and then you make medicines of those plants.
However, there is no accomplished mapping list so far (but it would have been most useful). I know that Wladimir worked on that, and also Mark Knowles reported that he has some results, but no comprehensive list has been published, or nothing that I know of. -

The recurring in the large plant section does not appear to be true for these particular plants, at least as far as I know. This may be expected since they would be specifically constructed for their purpose on this page, whatever that may be. By "constructed" I mean drawn in such away that the mnemonic is incorporated. -

I'm relying on you lot to inform me about this, since I wouldn't have a clue about the duplication of plant imagery. I tried to do this years ago and gave it up as a bad lot

You've never been bitten by a canine? We call them perro in Spanish, but canino is the generic name and for the teeth as well (canine teeth). Pichico if it's one of those rat dogs that nip at ankles.
And the French... clebs if we're being friendly, cabot or canine if we are introduced formally.
