All the rosette text circles have markers, but not all markers are of the same pattern. Not all of them are quatrefoils.

The rectangular quatrefoils are a somewhat floral-looking pattern of an abstract flower with four petals. The VMs only has the actual quatrefoils in specific cases. Perhaps the marked texts are grouped according to the type of pattern used as a marker - the central Rosette and the wheel of the cosmos. The zodiac is a related but separate case. Different parts of a hidden text could be designated by different types of markers and located in different places.
The markers exist - but is there something hidden in the circular texts and their patterned markers? An adequate system was put in place. If that were done for a reason, wouldn't that imply that the system was used somehow, but how could that be determined?
