I find the goat particularly interesting. The page is about the cure of kidney stones. In the list at the top of the page, "goat blood" is mentioned (item #12: "sanguis yrci"). Apparently, the goat was added before the two recipes at the bottom (the text flows around the sketch). The first and longest of the two recipes (also about goat blood) lists the plants that must be fed to the goat and this also appears in the illusration.
