As far as events go, I'd rank the creation and development of this forum as the single most significant one. Thanks to David and Anton's efforts, people have the opportunity to exchange ideas here in a friendly way. And of course also thanks to the many people here with knowledge in a variety of relevant fields. I am proud to have become a part of this project, and believe this combination of individual research and community efforts will eventually lead us to solutions.
For me, personally, the biggest event was that I started researching the manuscript in the beginning of this year and started writing about it in March. Since then, I have learned an awful lot about all kinds of subjects.
I also think the VMBOK project worthy of mention, and will help to reinvigorate it in 2017. Resolutions
2016, like all years before, has not been one of big solutions. But many new ideas are brewing under the surface about various aspects of the manuscript, and I wouldn't be surprised if 2017 brings more clarity.
