Hello @quimqu, I have read the README.md and THE_SCRIBE.md on Github and your work looks quite interesting, but before commenting I have some questions to ask.
I guess your Skribe (it looks better when capitalized
) 'self-initializes' the copy mechanism by starting creating words according to the rules at the beginhing of a page, then when there are enough template words it starts copying too? When does this reset, at the beginning of each page or of each bifolio?
I'm still confused by how you compose words. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. you told me:
But THE_SCRIBE.md reads:
How does it actually work?
Could you post a sample of the generated text, possibly divided in sections? Thanks.

Quote:The scribe doesn’t build words from prefix + midfix + suffix, though. It writes glyph by glyph, each glyph depending on the two before it, within the fixed slot order, and it also edits the words it copies. That’s where the hapaxes come from...
But THE_SCRIBE.md reads:
Quote:The template. A word is [prefix] [core] [e…] [ending]:
prefix: qo-, o-, y-, d-, s-, ch-, l- or none, and never before a bench;
core: a gallows or a bench, or nothing;
one to three e;
an ending.
How does it actually work?
Could you post a sample of the generated text, possibly divided in sections? Thanks.
