I wanted to check the scribe against tests

Quimqu, may I ask you to rename your method? Say, to "skribe" with "k"?  The current name is quite confusing...

I rebuilt their LSA (40 word documents, TF-IDF, 75 dimensions, cosine between pages) on the ZL3b paragraph text and ran it on the real text and on the s[k]ribe, same quires as them (1 to 7, 13, 20).  Real text: inside of bifolium 0.28, same leaf 0.23, facing 0.15. Same order as theirs and the same p values (facing is lower than both at p < 0.01, inside vs same leaf not significant). The absolute numbers are lower because the space is different, the order is what matters.

Can you please refresh us on what makes the output of your generator have such long-range (page to page) correlations?
