You have not convinced me to abandon my interpretation of the Rosettes Page. I am currently exploring the idea that the "broken clock" could represent the Two Paths of the Clergy; the Contemplative Life (Vita Contemplativa, focused on prayer and isolation) and the Active Life (Vita Activa, focused on missionary work, preaching, and charity).
