@Torsten: From a meta-level perspective, I understand that your “autocopier” theory isn’t compatible with Lisa Fagin Davis’s views. But with all due respect, that shouldn’t lead you to repeatedly confront her with nitpicking.

Your argument seems to imply that someone who disagrees with a position should not be allowed to ask questions about it. But nearly all Voynich researchers disagree with each other. If agreement were required to ask questions, nobody would be able to ask any question at all.

Anyway, in my eyes to ask for published sources is the basis of any scholarly discussion. As Davis says "We should all strive for precision and take care when we speak. And that's what I try to do."
