Assumptions baked into the VMS carbon dating

I am disputing that their results are combined as if they are the same object. Here is the dating for folio 68:

Just for clarity, those two black bumps are not results for different folios.  They are for the same folio (f68).  The concentration of C14 in the atmosphere (blue curve) had a big hiccup just around ~1350.  Therefore, what the measurement says is that the vellum of f68 is almost certainly either from 1308 to 1362 or from 1385 to 1436, with almost 50-50 chance for each.  

It is very unlikely to be from the interval ~1360 to ~1385.  Ignoring this caveat, it can be said to be from 1308 to 1436 with 95.4% probability.
