If I remember correctly, in a letter to Kircher, the VMS is described as having "alchemical symbolism". This is also inconsistent with the VMS. There is no such symbolism anywhere, that a trained alchemist could undoubtedly identify as "alchemical".
At this point I believe these people were talking about some other manuscript. Not the VMS. |
