1. There is some kind of numbering in f57v, and it indeed starts with "o". There is no "a" in this numbering which suggests that it is a variant of another glyph.
2. All three diagrams seem to start at the top left, between 10 and 11'o clock. This is consistent with your finding about the arrangement of figures. Even more, it is consistent with the position of Pisces in the Zodiac circle. If most or all of the diagrams indeed start at their top left, then either Pisces or Aquarius may be the first sign of the cycle.
