But "200 books" was the sale to the Vatican, right? Which was practically account and shelf juggling inside the Church. I was referring to the" 30 books" that they sold to Wilfrid, which (IIUC) would have included MS 408;, which seem to have been a serious violation of Italian law. Especially considering their actual market value, as established by the subsequent sales by Wilfrid.
