Distinguish between fact, theory and conclusion.
That the worm was there is a fact. That it may also have destroyed the bond is theory. A conclusion would be that the book was rebound for this reason.
The fact is the C-14 text. Result does not matter.
Advice. Ask Yale to do the test again.
