Rich, thanks for starting this thread and persisting through it.
Despite having to read past some responses that kluge together
misrepresentations of your positions, it has still been very interesting to
read about some of your research and observations that I had not seen before
-- or perhaps just forgotten about having read them individually and at different times.
In either case, it has prompted me to
spend more time going through your earlier blogs and posts.

I can't say that I'm yet convinced of your modern forgery theory, but
it certainly deserves a more sober evaluation that actually weighs the evidence for and against,
This forum is good for exchanging information, news, and resources,
and for the initial discussion and feedback regarding new or nascent ideas.
But it is clearly not very good for an objective and comprehensive discussion that is
free of the partisan and logically flawed potshots.
